1. Location:
Bausia Gazaria, Munshigonj, 37km away from Dhaka, near Dhaka end of Dhaka-Chittagong Highway.

2. Purpose :
Sale of developed industrial plots with infrastructural facilities in a secured area to SME.

3. Objectives: Industrialization through setting up SME units.

4.Total Cost of Project: Estimated Cost Tk. 200.00crore.

5. Number of Plots: 700(approx.)

6. Size of Plots: 21000 Square feet (average size)

7. Price per plot: Taka 25.00lakh (estimated)

8. Financing of Project:
100% by the SME entrepreneurs. To be paid before allocation of plot in three installments.

9. Facilities Available:
Developed plot, Road, Gas, Water, Electricity, Post Office, Bank, Police Station, Fire Station, Rest House, Health Care Centre in a secured place in the Shilpa Palli.

10. Nature of Industries to
      set up:
Export oriented, Import substitute, Goods and services for local, national and international market would get preference.

11. Environment:
Environment to be maintained strictly. Environment-be friendly friendly units would get priority.

12. Management :
The project would be developed, managed and operated by a committee consisting of BSCIC officials, Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurs.

13. Implementation
       Period : 3 years, commencing from July 2003

The project would be operated and implemented under a Memorandum of Understanding between the entrepreneurs and BSCIC. No role of BSCIC after implementation.
